You know how a NEW BABY🍼👶brings Magic and Joy?❤️Though not yet blessed with my own children, the just-purchased 🚘NEW CAR🚗 went right from the SHOWROOM, into a Magical Marathon of SHOWS!🤗🎩The "New Baby" logged 1400km💪⚡️ just this weekend: Magic Shows in Elsipogtog First Nation (New Brunswick), Amherst, New Glasgow, Halifax, and Bridgewater.❤️GET THIS!😮❗️Exhausted at the end (large public event for Family Day in Bridgewater), a young lady (now 22) at reception kindly lit up, bursting with excitement: "Are you really Mr. J? You were at my house, for my FIFTH Birthday!" Did some new Magic for her, for old time sake, and she insisted on a picture (see attached).😀Wow. Being remembered so fondly after 17 years?‼️ Forget being "tired!" What a Magical boost!🥳🪄✨️Bottom Line: Life is a Highway.🚗 No matter how tired you are, If you surround yourself with Happy Energy🥰, and Positive People🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️, you'll Magically feel newer than a new car! 🚘Try it! The kindness continues!🤗 Popular Halifax Radio host ⭐️MJ Finnamore⭐️ (FX 101.9 FM- Today's Country)🎶 featured my downtown Halifax 'FLAT TIRE STORY' on "MJ's Heroes!"❤️ (Link attached for you)😉Recap for you: Two homeless gents (!) immediately helped change my tire (!!) and asked for no payment in return.😇 (Of course I insisted).👍 If that level of impromptu kindness isn't real MAGIC, then I'll eat my top hat!🎩Magic thanks afterward, to the amazing ⭐️Jamie Dean⭐️ & his first class Team at Dean's Auto🚗, for the rushed NEW tires, North Queens Nursing Home for understanding about being late for their show (which they said actually worked out BETTER for them!), and to Halifax Radio's super cool team of MJ & Frankie, for sharing on-air this memorable, Magic experience.🪄✨️❤️"When Life gives you flat tires, make the Hope in Your Soul your spare." 👌🌠🥰👍 ... YOUR KINDNESS is MAGIC.🎩❤️But do YOU know WHY?🤔Because...Kindness Spreads!!🤗FLAT TIRE.😪 In Downtown Halifax!😵‍💫Traffic everywhere!😬🫢🙄 Heading to perform Magic for seniors...GET THIS: TWO HOMELESS GUYS (!) came to the rescue!🦸‍♂️🦸‍♂️They helped me get the spare on in just 15 minutes. Learned their situation when asking where they lived: "In that TENT over there!"😮(!!)Humbling.😔😑The mill in their small Newfoundland hometown closed, laying off thousands, forcing them here. Still, they steadfastly REFUSED ANY MONEY (!!) for their help! Insisted (of course), and gave 'em each $20 bucks. Best dough I ever spent.🥰👍(Seems we have a serious housing crisis, but luckily not a Kindness Krisis...)🤔👍The spare could at least get me to a garage...but what shop would be open with the long holiday weekend?🫢Let alone have the right type o' tire?🫨 Enter longtime friend Jamie Dean and the Titanic Team at Dean & Son's Auto (aka "The Best Around")...they motored with their own Magic, and got the Magic Mobile a wheel!🚗⚡️👍Had to call the seniors home, explaining that for the FIRST time in 25 years of performing...that now I couldn't make the show on time.😢Very apologetic. Even more kindness then shown: they were VERY understanding!😇Side note: Literally, a MINUTE before the flat tire, received a dealership call: "David, your NEW CAR you ordered will be ready NEXT WEEK!" (Oh, the timing...maybe the old tire decided to burst in protest??)😋Finally made the show. Performed for a wonderful group of amazing seniors.🥰 Buoyed by the benevolence afforded by so many others, the energy was pure JOY!🤗Got to meet and talk with everyone. Many said it made their year.🥰For a few brief shining hours, we were all children again.🪄✨️👶🎩👍All this only possible through a series of kind acts.⭐️Your kindness creates ripples.🌊 Your kindness snowballs.❄️ Your kindness is MAGIC.🎩❤️👍 When Life gives you flat tires, make the Hope in Your Soul your spare. Fond memories of the hilarious and highly entertaining ⭐️Hughie Batherson 🎤on stage playing BOB (en français!), to inspire myself and many others at Université Sainte-Anne to learn French.Did you also look forward to your favourite games?🥰How glorious a day it was when you came home from school for lunch, and saw the beloved yodeling 'Cliff Hanger' game.Bob's "inspirational" (yet seldom landed) golf putts during "Hole-in-One", and his classic golf scene in 'Happy Gilmore'.🏌‍♂️⛳️So many Price-less memories.
